Video card upgrading

I sold my ATI Radeon HD 3870 video card... and just ordered a 4870 from best buy. Usually best buy is not the best price, but this time it was! They are charging more for a 88GTS than for the 4800 series! The 4870 is a much faster card than the 8800 GT or GTS cards, but they charge more for a GTS! Its suprising the 4870 is actually $10 CHEAPER at best buy than at newegg... and newegg is out of stock!

I will be gone from this weekend for a few weeks, but as soon as I can(maby this week before I go even) I will post my review on the 4870! Pictures.... overclocking results... :D 3dmark Vantage and '06 results too... with my Intel Xeon E3110@4.2 and 4.4 ghz.

Birthday

Today is Nate's 6th birthday. Tonight we will have celebrate!

Pisgah Troop Backpacking trip

I'm Going to watch/listen to Arthur Rubinstein Piano Concertos once again. He's playing Edvard Grieg's concerto in A minor OP. 16, Frederic Chopin's concerto no. 2 in F minor op. 21, and Camille Saint-Saens' concerto no 2 in G minor op. 22. He's performing with the London Symphony Orchestra. Rubinstein is just an amazing pianist! The pieces are also awesome. Performances that are very good can be heard many times!
